| He is who He says He is. You are who He says you are.
Who does He say He is? He is good. He is just. He is love "no greater love than this, that a man would lay down his life for a sinner" He is powerful "creator of the heavens and the earth" "the alpha and the omega" He is holy "Take off your shoes for the ground you stand on is holy ground" He is always with me "even if you make your bed in the depths of sheol, there I am with you" He will never forsake me "...for He has make a covenant on His name and He cannot forsake Himself" He is the Lamb of God. He is patient. He is forgiving. He is long suffering. He is joy. He is the Prince of Peace. He is the Good Shepherd. He is the Great Warrior.
Who does He say I am? I am fearfully and wonderfully made. All things work for the good of those who love God. I am chosen. I am saved. I am valuable "even the birds of the sky are fed, how much moreso does the Father care about you?" I am gifted "every good gift comes from the Father" I am known "you know my coming in and my laying down. even before a word is formed on my tongue, you know it, O Lord" I am loved.

| leaving c'ville today.
as so many before have said, it is not the Ground of UVA that i will miss. The rotunda and gardens, although beautiful, do not enchant me nor draw me to stay. However, its the community and the people, who have literally changed my life, that i will be sacrificing.
Thank you to CCF -- living with you guys, breathing with you guys, working alongside you guys... we are more than a fellowship and we are more than just friends. we are brothers and sisters. ehh, we fight, yes. we bicker, yes. we laugh, yes. and i will miss all of it. What we have is eternal, and even in the finite realm of time that we have had together, you guys have sharpened and tested me. thank you for loving me even when you see my *dark* side. thank thank you for being like family
goodbye incubator =) hello big world

| italy is good. i am getting quite the experience: 1. the aeropuerte lost our bags but , and they were returned to us the next day. since the flight was an overnight flight, this meant that we didnt shower for 2.5 days. yummmmi. getting our luggage back was a GREAT gift =) and i have a newfound love for showers. 2. our hostel is super close to the termini station. this station is the hub for the train, metro, and buses. what a great location. and its CLEAN! spic and span. if only we had blinds, but one cant be too picky. 3. i also had the pleasure of being pickpocket. sigh...it made me sad. at least it was only money, and not a passport or anything. phew! it was two women with a baby. and one of them had a peice of cardboard. the other one grabbed my arm so i would move it away from my pocket, and the baby-woman stuck the cardboard at my torso and reached into my pocket. tsk tsk...i didnt loose much--just money. i have been praying for God to make me more generous...so I hope that money was needed and that it is blessing somebody. >< 4. we went to the colosseum today, and walked through the ruins of the city center that were next to it. it was amazing!!!!!! =) dude, pictures will come. There were these gladiator people there that i was afraid to approach but we could have taken pictures with them. 5. gelato is amazing. its cheaper than icecream in the states. but i have still found that wine is more expensive than water. there are fountains around, though, which have water flowing out of them. and you can just drink it. no problem. we are visiting the vatican tomolo!! i can't wait =) | | |
